Sound Transit Survey on Future Projects

Sound Transit is doing a survey of their system expansion strategy.

Sound Transit - the transit providers for projects that move between Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties - are currently taking a survey about how they should prioritize projects for the coming years.

Coming after the failure of Proposition 1 last fall (a multi-billion dollar roads and transit levy), Sound Transit is curious about the public opinion regarding issues such as bus expansion, light rail, commuter rail, and road issues. This survey will influence their priorities in the coming years, and what approach they take to funding them.

Transit plays a large role in the walkability of a neighborhood. With good transit, you have the options of making trips by foot locally, or hopping a bus to another neighborhood. And more activity from buses helps the streets stay lively.

Take a few minutes and let Sound Transit know how they can help make the Puget Sound more walkable by filling out the survey.
